Hi ya!
Are you tired of looking at the plain background on the Google homepage?
Do you want to spice it up a bit by adding color here and there and everywhere!
If so, then what you want is a theme.
What’s a theme?
Themes are used to change the look of the Chrome browser.
How do I install a theme?
You can install a theme via the Chrome Web Store.
There’s plenty of themes to choose from. After you've found the one you like, click on it and a popup will appear. At the top right of the popup, it’ll say Add to Chrome. Click that. The new theme will automatically appear on Chrome. If you don’t like it (and already have a theme installed), you can click on the Undo message that appears on the top of the page.
How do I uninstall the theme?
If you don’t like the theme that you’ve installed and want to reset it to the default Chrome theme, then all you have to do is go to the Chrome Menu > Settings > Find the Appearance section > and click the Reset to default theme button.
And that is all about themes!
Summarize:
- To install a theme, you have to go to the Chrome Web Store
- Find the one you want and click Add to Chrome
- Then, to uninstall the theme and reset it to the original Chrome theme, go to the Chrome Menu > Settings > Find the Appearance section > and click the Reset to default theme button
