#60 Chrome - Set your Search Engine

Hi ya!

When you install Chrome on your computer, it automatically uses Google to search from.
You can change that at any time, if you wish.
Here’s how:

Set your Search Engine
  • Open up the Chrome Menu
  • Select Settings
  • Find the category Search
  • Click the drop down menu that says “Google”
  • Select a Search Engine from the menu

Manage your Search Engines
  • Open the Chrome Menu
  • Select Settings
  • Find the category Search
  • Click Manage Search Engines
  • Under Other Search Engines, you can…
    1. Add a search engine: All you have to do is fill out the fields to add your search engine.
    2. Edit a search engine: Just click on the search engine that you wish to edit, and edit it as you please.
    3. Delete a search engine: Find the search engine that you wish to delete, and on the right side, click the X to delete it.
    4. Set a search engine: Hover over the search engine that you want to search from and click Make default.
  • Click Done

And that is how you set your Search Engine!

Summary:
  • Open the Chrome Menu
  • Select Settings
  • Find the category Search
  • Click the drop down menu that says “Google”
  • Select a Search Engine from the menu
