Hi ya!
Not too long ago, Google made a change to the bookmark UI,
which you can read all about in the blog post written by Google.
If you’re like a lot of people and don’t like the Enhanced Bookmarks, then you can disable them.
How to disable the Enhanced Bookmark Feature
- Type chrome://flags in the omnibox
- Use Find and search for “Enable Enhanced Bookmarks”
- Click the drop menu to Disabled from Default and at the bottom of the page, you will be prompted to restart your device
After you restart your device, you should be back to the “old bookmark” system.
Alternatively you could just paste chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment in the Omnibox and just follow step 3 and up.
Please note:
The Enhanced Bookmark flag can be removed at any time. If it is, then you can’t disable the new Bookmark layout.
To Summarize:
- Type chrome://flags in the omnibox
- Use Find and search for “Enable Enhanced Bookmarks”
- Click the drop menu to Disabled from Default and at the bottom of the page, you will be prompted to restart your device
