Hi ya!
You ever visit a site that you spend a lot of time on?
Do you not want to have to type in the name of the website every time you wish to explore it?
Well, after you read this blog post and follow the instructions, all you should have to do is click once and bam! You’re there at the site that you wanted to go to!
Let’s get started!
- Type this in the omnibox: chrome://flags (or just copy and paste chrome://flags into the omnibox).
- Find the flag Enable experimental streamlined hosted apps (what I do to find something quickly is use Ctrl + f).
- After you’ve found it, click Enable and at the bottom of the screen, you’ll see some text that says Your changes will take effect next time you restart your device
- Then, once you’ve restarted your device, to check to see if the flag was enabled, open Chromes control area, More Tools and you’ll see Add shortcut to this website.
After you’ve added it, it’s been placed on your shelf where you can manage it any way you please.
And that is how you add a website to the Chrome OS Shelf!
