#22 Chromebook - How to take a screenshot

Hi ya!

I regularly ask people at Google Product Forums to take a screenshot of the error that they are having, so I can help them.

If you’re on a Chromebook, here’s how to do that!

If you want to take a screenshot of the whole screen, press the keys
Ctrl +

To capture a portion of the page, press the keys
Ctrl + Shift +

After the screenshot has been taken, a notification popup will appear at the bottom right of the screen.

Remember: If you share your screenshot on the internet, don’t forget to hide personal information such as email address, banking account info, etc.

That’s how you take a screenshot!

Summary:
  • To take a screenshot of the whole page, press Ctrl +
  • To take a screenshot of a specific part of the page, push the keys
Ctrl + Shift +
